ANNE BECKER DESIGN

Comfort, elegance, timeless, stylish, practical, serene, relaxed, effortless. We hear these words used a lot in the design business. What do they mean? Frankly, different things for different people.

The interpretation is the key.

The interior design process can seem daunting, but it doesn’t need to be. Honed down to its essence, there are things of utmost importance: comfort, budget, timeframe, communication, trust – all of which need to be front and center. You should have the look and style you want, and the confidence you won’t look back in 20 years and feel your house is already dated.

My projects result in homes that do not feel “decorated” – rather thoughtfully considered and personal; possibly collected over time. I love antiques, I love modern/contemporary, and above all I love the mix of the two. With an emphasis on longevity.

Organic patterns, rich patinas and textures. Understated.

Purposefully unique. Mix of high and low origins.  Simplicity at its best.

Contemporary homes can be cozy. Modern interiors can feel organic. Traditional spaces can have a casual, livable vibe.
